this is what was waiting for us when we got home.
the fact that the kids spent several hours working on this really brought a tear to my eye. especially when i realized that my own children don’t know how to spell my name correctly.

That is hilarious! I kinda have a feeling if my husband were making me a welcome home sign, the same thing would happen.
By the way – is that bottom picture “Welcome Home” surrounded by a wine bottle and two corks for magnets? If so, that’s a kid after my own heart!
donzer, yep, those are corks. there’s actually six of them if you look closely. my favorite pic is the one HUGE glass of red wine between our heads. they did a really nice job with my hubby’s hair too.

I was out of town myself just returning to find the blog of bex hanging onto page 1 by a hair. At least I think it was a hair. Anyhoo, glad you’re back! I hope you had a wonderful time and the Paris was good to you!
damon – i’m so jet lagged, i don’t even know my own name at this point. in fact backing out of the garage this morning, i managed to side swipe the water softener, bust a water line, water came blowing out like an uncapped fire hydrant right into the top of my husband’s car, which just happened to have the top down. yeah….it’s that kind of day.
bee – our house is full of culture. they know how to spell that from all the “star” mags laying around the house.
